What is Drywall Tape?
Drywall tape is a reinforced strip applied over drywall joints to create a seamless surface. It reinforces the joint compound and prevents cracks from forming along the seams.
The three main types are paper tape (most common, requires embedding in compound), mesh tape (self-adhesive, better for crack resistance), and fiber tape (premium option for high-stress areas).
